Hi Everyone!

Today I have a guest blogger Courtney Rosenfeld is on my platform. And she is here to share with us when it is time to get a business coach and how to get one.

Please take the time to read her post and hear what she has to say!

When Is It Time to Get a Business Coach

There is nothing more exciting than starting a business with an idea that you conceived on your own. However, that feeling can quickly fade away if you begin to have issues.

Instead of giving up, you may require the services of a business coach to help you along. Jamie London-Clay and I (Courtney Rosenfeld) are here to help.

I love to give others entrepreneurial advice and I can give you some reasons why you may need a business coach and how to find the best one for your needs.

When Is It Time to Hire a Business Coach?

There comes a time in every entrepreneur’s life when they hit a rough patch and need to make some big decisions.

Sometimes, that rough patch may only last a few months or days, but in other cases, you may land in a funk and you can’t quite get out. If that is the case, then you may need a business coach.

Your issue may be that you are overwhelmed trying to tackle every process at your business and you don’t think you can go on at this same pace.

Another issue may be that you don’t have a business partner to bounce ideas off and your company has remained stagnant because of it.

Maybe you want to grow your enterprise but you have no idea what steps to take.

If you are stressed for these or any other reason and you are stuck where you are, then it may be time for a coach.

A Business Coach Could Help You Market Your Products

While you may be dealing with any of the issues mentioned above, there is also the chance that you are in a slump and you aren’t quite sure why. The good news is that a coach can help you in ways you may not realize.

For instance, a pro could advise you on how to market your product. One idea that they may suggest is to turn to social media and spread the word through Facebook advertisements.

If you need help creating eye-catching ads then consider looking online for a Facebook ad maker that allows you to choose from a variety of premade templates.

Once you find one you like, you can modify it with your own text, pictures, wording, and colors. Then, you submit it to Facebook and set your audience, and then they will show it to your target demographic.

A Coach Can Help You to Tweak Your Business Plan

In order to truly succeed with your own company, you need to have an ironclad business plan, and if yours has some holes, then it may be time to bring in a coach to assist.

This plan is one of the essential steps to start a new business because it will detail every aspect of your company, including what you plan to sell, how you intend to manufacture your product, how much funding you will need, how you hope to secure those funds, and how and where you can find your target audience.

Once you have this plan in writing, you need to follow it to the letter. This plan needs to be perfect, and a coach can help to get you there.

Where to Find a Business Coach

Now that you know you need a business coach, you may wonder how to find one. You can try many strategies, starting with going on LinkedIn to search for potential mentors and reaching out to people you believe fit your mold.

Sometimes, you can do that by talking to people in your current network and asking if they know someone who can help.

Once you find someone, sit down with them, and ask them about their experience and their success stories.

Also, tell them about what you hope to achieve and see if they can help you reach your goals. If you find a fit, try them out and see what happens.

As you can see, there are many reasons why a business coach can help your company succeed.

Once you find a coach, create a comprehensive business plan together, and you can reach your goals.

I think there is a huge benefit to getting mentorship in business. The challenge is finding someone that will get you the results but at the same time is affordable and actually cares enough about you to be generous with their time when needed. If all they care about is themselves then you will probably find it’s not worth it.

      Hi Jake!

I agree with you. Whoever you choose to coach you, who is affordable, can be the challenge. Someone who cares about coaching you to grow your business and have integrity about it is rare. However, it is something to research by checking their reviews and doing some trial runs to show how their coaching can help improve your business goals. Without that due diligence, it is simply not worth it.  Thanks for your feedback!
