Understanding The Power of Money and Resources

The Kingdom’s Purpose for Resources and Money
On my journey to being the best version of myself. Part of my process includes becoming a better steward of what I have been given to maintain.
Which is preparing me for the plenty that God has in store for me to steward over and dominate with. It is also my heart’s desire to live a wealthy, abundant, and prosperous life. Proverbs 31:10, 3 John 1:2, John 10:10
Because God created me to be wealthy. As well as it is my birthright as a child of the Highest God. I am called to live a wealthy life and teach other people how to do the same. To do This I must understand wealth, money, and resources in depth.
I want God to trust me with wealth and abundance. Hence, understanding the power of money and resources is the purpose of This blog post.
As I seek the kingdom’s purpose for resources and money for greater wisdom. I hope you are inspired to understand its purpose. So that you can live a wealthy abundant and prosperous life too.
The Power Of Money

Money is the most personal thing to everybody. Right now, everyone is having a money problem. Money is the most powerful thing on earth next to God.
In economic terms, money is the ultimate power, because ‘money buys goods’. In a market economy, you can get anything if you pay the price – and have the money.
The kingdom concept of wealth which Is from the kingdom book called the bible. Humankind was created and instructed to have dominion over all the earth.
God wanted to rule Earth in partnership with humankind. Through humankind, God’s original plan is to invade Earth with the heavens’ influence and resources.
It was God’s idea from the beginning that we have plenty while we dominate the earthly realm.
God the wealthy Creator created humans in His image as wealthy creators. To rule on Earth in our creative space.
God Elohim. Meaning; God, great, judge, and mighty. God is the self-existent one, and the creator of all.
“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 ESV)
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything is in it. The world and all its people belong to him. For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. (Psalm 24 NLT)
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” All that is in life (except iniquity) – is from God. (Revelation 1:8 ESV)
There are two masters’ on earth. God and money. God made money more powerful than Satan. Satanas the fallen angel meaning superhuman adversary, one who withstands. Isaiah 14:1-27.
That’s why Jesus says you can’t serve both God and money.
There are two sources of wealth in the world:
- God is the number one source of wealth.
- Satan is the number two source of wealth.
And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—This is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to have issues over the past. (Ecclesiastes 5:19 NLT)
What Is Wealth?

As we continue in our study of understanding the power of money and resources.
It is important to research the origin of the word wealth. Overall, it is defined as power, riches, strength, substance, plenty, and might.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Wealth is the abundance of valuable material possessions and resources. It is all property that has a monetary value or an exchangeable value. It is all material objects that have economic utility.
Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary defines wealth as weal; welfare; prosperity; and good. Large possessions are a close abundance of things that are items of human desire. Esp., the plenty of worldly estate; affluence; opulence; and riches.
Jesus taught in parables. 11 of His 40 parables were about money or he used money to teach us spiritual truths.
Jesus saw wealth as a gift from God to be used in His service (Matthew 25:14-30).
All wealth comes from God, belongs to God, honors God, and is a blessing from God. Wealth’ in This context doesn’t just refer to money itself.
The spiritual definition of true wealth. It is that we achieve spiritual wealth when we work to develop virtues. such as trustworthiness, truthfulness, assertiveness, compassion, honesty, honor, prayerfulness, etc.
Throughout the scriptures, men and women of God encountered a wealth of diverse kinds. Wealth comes in many forms. Whether in reputation, authority, intellect, physical attraction, physical strength, military might, or finances. With each comes significant dividends and opportunities to serve the kingdom of God.
The Reintroduction of the Global Picture God Has.
- The original purpose and plan of God was to extend His heavenly kingdom to earth.
Heaven is a wealthy place. The Bible describes the streets as paved with Gold. When you think about wealth you can’t help but think about heaven.
- The purpose of God was to colonize earth with heaven.
In a kingdom civilization, if a kingdom is wealthy and it has a colony. Then the colony is to reflect the nature of that Kingdom.
If you’re thinking is wrong, then your life is going to be wrong. If you allow the kingdom of God to influence the territory of your mind. Then your mind will begin to reflect the territory of that Kingdom.
In the same way, Europe influenced the territory of North America. In the beginning of Western civilization.
Wealth is a part of the culture of heaven. Poverty is a foreign experience. In heaven there is no depression, oppression, or poverty.
- Wealth in a Kingdom is the private property of the King.
In a kingdom the King owns everything. Everything in a kingdom is the private property of the King. None of us own anything.
I don’t care how many times your name is written on the deed. If you die it will no longer be yours.
In Western society, wealth is built on 2 concepts.
- A culture clash that trains us to think ownership.
- Capitalism is built on independence and personal ownership.
Both concepts are anti-kingdom.
We are spiritual beings having an earthly experience. We as earthlings have trapped ourselves in a system. That leads us to the belief that we own things, and that belief system is keeping more things from us.
- The Kingdom gives its wealth to its citizens to do God’s purposes in the creative spaces we’ve been given.
Whatever God gives you is not for you. It’s for the purposes for which he has given it to you. If God can’t get it through you, he won’t give it to you.
- The Kingdom of God’s citizens are responsible and accountable to the King. For the management of His resources. Matt 25:1 14-16
Anything God gives you is to do His purpose in your territory. It is God who gives us the ability or skill to get wealth. So that He may accomplish His covenant on the earth.
He gives based on our ability to manage. The kingdom has no limit on wealth. So, if there is any scarcity in our lives it isn’t because of God. It is because of us. God doesn’t determine what you get from His Kingdom you do.
You must change your thinking. The amount is determined by the recipient’s ability to manage it.
Then God leaves and watches from His throne how we manage and manage all that He has delegated to us on Earth.
Whatever we mis manage God drives us out of. “So, the Lord God sent them out of the Garden of Eden and made them cultivate the soil from which they had been formed.” Genesis 3:23

Put Your Money to Work.
In the Kingdom of God, you don’t work for money. Money works for you in the Kingdom. Anytime God gives you money and resources he wants it to work for you.
If you work for money the money is the boss.
We are supposed to work for purpose not money. If you find your purpose money will find you. If you are not in your purpose, then you are still working for money.
Purpose attracts prosperity for its fulfillment. Money is an idea. Money is energy. It doesn’t technically exist. But it does.
We are supposed to work for our life purposes. If you’re thinking correctly wealth is attractive. Napoleon Hill said it best when he said we are to think and grow rich. Not work and grow rich.
That’s why Solomon never asked God for wealth. Solomon asked for mental things. He asked for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. His thinking was once I had them in my mind, they would make money for me. (1 Kings 3 NIV)
Tithing and giving don’t get you out of the whole. You must add to your faith works. Add to your work understanding. You must know how to think. Even when you are giving. (2 Chronicles 1:11)
Kingdom Accounting
We must transform our thinking to God owning everything all the time. When we give God a tithe. God still owns the rest. He watches how we all manage the rest.
In the kingdom management is the highest work. Christ gives us the secret to God calling us good.
God blesses good people and good money management. God ties it to how we manage our thinking and manage money.
The scarce thing is with money if you hoard it takes wings and will run from you.
God Honors Faithful People.
You can only be faithful when you are aware you are doing something for someone else. Faithfulness is a concept of a good Stewart. It implies you are accountable to someone in the name of Jesus.
In the Parable to the One, He called wicked. He is explaining the mentality of the one. What the person was thinking. It wasn’t that the person’s money couldn’t grow and multiply.
It was His thinking that stopped the money from growing. He said in his mind that he was afraid. Fear and money don’t go together. Matt 25:24-25
His mentality stopped the multiplication of his money. Matt 25:26-27
The wicked is someone who mismanages money. If you don’t manage money, it will destroy you.
When you’re thinking right you will never want anything. Matt 25:28-30

The Kingdom’s Purpose for Money and Resources
Money and resources are a Trust. Money and resources are a gift. The quantity is determined by our ability to manage. Never pray beyond your ability to manage. The better you manage the more you attract.
Money and Resources Demand Your Creativity
God won’t always tell you how to get it. Laziness is defined as a lack of creativity. Wickedness is defined as not using your brain.
If you don’t evolve your thinking and actions. You will become a bush instead of a garden. Get up and use your brain. Ask God for revelation.
Money And Resources must work for us not us for it. Money And Resources are not for hoarding but for investment.
We will give an account of what we did with the money and resources we were given to manage.
The Responsibility of Money
- Money And Resources must be multiplied.
When God gives you, something to think about how to multiply it. Start with putting it toward His work. His Kingdom activities. As a result, moth and dust will not corrupt, and thieves cannot steal it.
- Money And Resources assess our goodness.
Management attracts money.
- Money And Resources measure our faithfulness.
If you are faithful God will evaluate and check how you manage your money and resources.
- Money And Resources determine our promotion and influence.
God doesn’t promote you because you are nice. He will give us more influence and possessions when we manage what he has already given us.
The power of money is the key to our whole life. It is the power that God uses to measure everything.
That’s why we must learn to manage it, budget it, give it, tithe it, spread it around, and when he speaks to us. Even when he tells us to give our last $20 or $30 away. Obey His voice. He will trust us with more money and resources.
In the Kingdom, being wealthy is a commonwealth. It’s common to be wealthy.
Money And Resources should not be returned as it was given. You should always give God more than what He has given you.
This is the power of money.
Sources of Mismanagement
Attitude can change the perception of money (jealousy, coveting, hatred, competition), etc.
- A scarcity mentality restricts effective management.
- The fear of money and resources will hinder management.
- Mismanagement of money and resources is a result of laziness and wickedness.
- You will always lose what you mismanaged.
Purpose for Money and Resources
Money is…
- A trust
- A test
- A trial
Management of material resources determines your ability to manage spiritual resources.
The Foundation for more than enough.
If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? Luke 16: 11-12
A Divine Desire
Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. 3 John 2-3
Conclusion
If you want the anointing to fix your money life. You must yield yourself starting, with your mind to the kingdom of God.
Two books reveal our life the bible and our checkbook. Let us repent by changing the way we have been thinking about money and resources.
I don’t know about you but. I want God to give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding so that I may be a good steward of everything delegated to me.

Thank you for this insightful article! I really appreciate how you explored the deeper implications of money and resources, especially the emphasis on using them wisely to create opportunities rather than just accumulating wealth for its own sake. It’s an important perspective that often gets overlooked.
One question I have is: how do you think people can strike a balance between financial security and pursuing passions or purposes that may not be immediately profitable? It seems like managing both can be challenging, especially in today’s fast-paced world. I’d love to hear your thoughts on finding that balance!
Hi info/cos
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad the article resonated with you. The relationship between money, resources, and purpose is a nuanced topic, and I love that you’re doing it on a deeper level.
Finding that balance between financial security and pursuing passions, especially when those passions may not be immediately profitable, can be challenging. But it’s entirely possible with the right mindset and approach. One key is to think of financial security not as an endpoint but as a foundation that supports your more significant purpose. When you view it this way, you can focus on building enough security to give you the freedom to pursue your passions without overwhelming financial stress.
Here are a couple of strategies I’ve helpful:
Create a financial buffer: Building a safety net through savings or other forms of security can give you the peace of mind to take creative or purpose-driven risks. Even if the passion project isn’t immediately profitable, having a buffer allows you to keep going without feeling pressured to monetize quickly.Blend purpose and profitability: Look for ways to integrate your passions into revenue streams, even if it’s not the primary goal. For example, can your love lead to a side income at first? Or could you approach it as a long-term investment while maintaining a job that supports you financially?Time management and boundaries: Many people find success by dedicating some of their time to stable, income-generating work and setting aside time for passion projects. Over time, as your purpose-driven work grows, you can adjust the balance between the two.
Remember, it’s okay for the journey to be gradual. It’s about taking small, strategic steps while considering your long-term vision. Ultimately, the path might not always be linear when you’re with your passion, but it’s always worth it.
I’d love to hear more about what passions you’re pursuing and how you’re courting that balance!
Warmly,
Jamie London Clay
